Our History and Mission
In 2011 the tournament formally known as the Swampscott/Lynnfield 7 on 7 shootout got a new name and an exciting new partner, Under Armour. UA is partnering with the best tournaments around the country and has selected this tournament in its 8th year to be their representative in the Northeast. Partnering with UA brings national exposure and many benefits.
Tournament Director, Steve Dembowski, believes the partnership with Under Armour will take the tournament to a whole new level. He said, "We are thrilled that UA selected us as a partner. UA brings so much to the table and we will elevate the tournament to match their expectations. We look forward to our new relationship with UA and providing the teams in the Northeast a great event to promote and showcase their athletes' skills"
The tournament began as a way to get high school teammates together in the summer to compete. Our mission is to help all involved; players get to work on team concepts, coaches get to see the development of their young players and everybody has a blast!
